Description
Count down to the holidays with Flappy! ❄️
Flappy’s Holiday Countdown works like a printable advent calendar. Each day from December 1 to 24 there’s one small, cheerful activity, plus a secret word to trace and collect. Most days take 10 to 20 minutes, which makes it an easy daily ritual at breakfast, after school or before bed. It comes from Adenvale, a snowy island city of games and stories.
What’s inside (30-page PDF):
- Cover page
- How-it-works page for grown-ups
- Check-off calendar page: color a star (or add a sticker!) each day and write down the secret word
- 24 daily pages, mixing:
- 6 puzzles (counting, word scramble, dot-to-dot, patterns, odd one out, mini word search)
- 5 coloring pages
- 4 kindness challenges (make a card, help with a chore, three thank-yous, story time)
- 3 mazes that get harder as December goes on
- 3 penguin jokes with drawing prompts
- 3 drawing prompts (build a snowman, design a super sled, design Flappy a sweater)
- A secret word on every page to trace (great handwriting practice)
- Certificate of completion
- 2-page answer key for every maze and puzzle, plus the full secret-word list
Bonus game: type each day’s secret word at adenvale.com/holiday-countdown-bonus/ to unlock that day’s free snow-catching bonus game (a new day opens each morning, December 1 to 24).
Great for: ages 4 to 10. Younger kids can do it with a grown-up reading aloud, and older kids can usually go solo. Started late? Any 24 days work, at any pace. There are no dates on the daily pages.
Print-friendly: US Letter (choose “Fit to page” for A4). Black-and-white printing works great.
